Nathaniel Chalobah: Chelsea loan youngster to Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough have signed versatile England Under-21 international Nathaniel Chalobah on loan from Chelsea for the remainder of the season.
Chalobah is the second player to join Boro on loan from Chelsea this month following defender Kenneth Omeruo.
He will be working under Aitor Karanka, formerly Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho's assistant manager at Real Madrid.
The 19-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Nottingham Forest, where he made 12 appearances.
Chalobah, who can play in either defence or midfield, spent the majority of the 2012-13 campaign on loan at Watford where then-manager Gianfranco Zola tipped him to fill the boots of Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge.
