Cardiff City make approach for striker Mame Biram Diouf
Cardiff City have made an approach to sign Hannover 96's Senegal striker Mame Biram Diouf.
Diouf, 26, played under Cardiff boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Manchester United reserves and had spells at Blackburn Rovers and Norwegian club Molde.
He has scored 30 goals in 61 appearances since joining Hannover in January 2012.
Solskjaer's first signing for Cardiff was midfielder Magnus Wolff Eikrem.
The 23-year-old Norwegian international and former Manchester United reserve-team player, joined Cardiff from Dutch club Heerenveen for an undisclosed fee.
The Bluebirds have also been linked with Molde's 18-year-old midfielder Mats Moller Daehli.
