York City sign Cheltenham midfielder Russell Penn

York City have signed Cheltenham midfielder Russell Penn for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

The 28-year-old made 124 appearances for the Robins after joining from Burton Albion in May 2011.

"I'm very excited and I'm looking forward to the next six months of the season.

"The team have had some positive results in the last week and we have to try and kick on."
