Doncaster recall midfielder David Syers from Scunthorpe
Doncaster Rovers have recalled midfielder David Syers from his loan spell at Scunthorpe.
The 26-year-old joined the Iron on an initial one-month deal in October and stayed on to score five goals in 15 games for the League Two leaders.
The former Bradford man made 38 appearances last season to help Rovers win promotion to the Championship.
He could now feature for Paul Dickov's side in Saturday's home FA Cup third-round tie against Stevenage.
