Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Oscar Garcia has called on his players to remain calm over transfer speculation.

to bid for midfielder Liam Bridcutt and winger Will Buckley.

"They are professionals, not new in football and they know everything that happens in the transfer window," Garcia told 91热爆 Sussex.

"Their job is to be focused on the next game. That is what we will try to do."

Garcia refused to comment on Tuesday as to whether the club had received bids for Scotland international Bridcutt or wide man Buckley, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.

"We have to be prepared for everything but at this moment I have not had any news," the Spaniard said.

"I don't like to speak about individuals but obviously Liam is one of the main players of this club and my squad.

"For me, all the players of my squad are important and I want to keep as many players as we can.

"We are trying to have good players and improve them. The idea is to keep these players playing for us."

Meanwhile, Garcia says the sacking of Cardiff manager Malky Mackay has complicated any bid to re-sign Bluebirds winger Craig Conway.

The 28-year-old Scotland international scored one goal in 13 appearances during a three-month loan spell at the Amex Stadium earlier this season.

"We have to wait for the new manager and to balance the budgets to know if we can [sign] any player," Garcia said.
