St Mirren goalkeeper Marian Kello has agreed a new deal to stay with the club until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Kello's fellow keeper David Cornell is returning to Swansea after a loan spell at St Mirren Park.

Nice striker Stephane Bahoken and Blackpool defender Jake Caprice are also returning to their respective clubs following loan stints in Paisley.

Bahoken and Cornell last played for St Mirren in September while Caprice has not featured in manager Danny Lennon's side since November.

Slovakia international Kello has kept four clean sheets in 11 appearances for St Mirren.

And Lennon said: "Marian is exactly the type of player we want at our football club. He has great ability, is a tremendous character and he has brought a great presence and confidence to the group.

"Without doubt, he is an outstanding professional with a great work ethic and he has a real desire to see the club progress. Marian is also a great role model for our younger keepers Christopher Dilo and Kieran Hughes as they look up to him for the standard that is required.

"I think it is fair to say that Marian has been a big part of the turnaround that we have had and I'm certainly glad that we have secured his services until the end of the season."
