Derby County: Kalifa Cisse and Simon Dawkins on trial

Derby County have taken Mali international Kalifa Cisse and Tottenham Hotspur forward Simon Dawkins on trial.

Cisse, who can play in defence or midfield, played in France and Portugal before joining

The 29-year-old also played for Bristol City and is a free agent after leaving Major League Soccer side the New England Revolution.

Dawkins, 25, has had loan spells in the MLS and with Aston Villa.

He has only played one game for Spurs but made four substitute appearances for Villa in the Premier League last season.
