Gateshead sign Middlesbrough defender Lewis Sirrell
Gateshead have signed versatile full-back Lewis Sirrell on a one-month loan from Championship side Middlesbrough.
Sirrell, 20, will offer cover to boss Gary Mills following injury to Carl Magnay in the midweek win at struggling Hyde in the Conference Premier.
"Lewis is a tall and strong player with a good left foot," Mills said. "He likes to get forward and is a player with a lot of qualities."
Mills also signed goalkeeper Alex Baird on non-contract terms on Tuesday.
