Dungannon Swifts retained their unbeaten home league record this season with a draw against the champions.

Darren Boyce put the home side in front when he followed up to force the ball in after Conor Devlin had fumbled a fierce Matt Hazley free-kick after 64.

Substitute Ciaran Caldwell levelled on 72 minutes when he shot past Gareth Buchanan when the ball fell into his path after a weak initial effort.

Cliftonville lie fourth in table, one point ahead of fifth-placed Dungannon.

The Reds received a boost before the game when George McMullan was named among the substitutes after recovering from a knee injury which had kept him out of action since the early part of the season.

Early in the game, Jamie Douglas headed against the bar from a Boyce cross, while Devlin denied Shane Mulgrew from the follow-up.

Ryan Harpur fired over and then Liam Boyce was denied by Buchanan, who tipped his well-struck free-kick onto the bar.

Jaimie McGovern was carried off and then Buchanan again distinguished himself by tipping away Martin Donnelly's free-kick before the break.
