Oxford boss Chris Wilder has hailed his side's passion after a battling draw at Cheltenham extended their unbeaten league record this season.

The home team twice went ahead, but goals from Dave Kitson and Johnny Mullins rescued a point for the U's.

And Wilder feels they can be proud of their strength of character against difficult opponents.

"We played with pride and wanted to make sure our unbeaten run was intact and it is," Wilder told 91�ȱ� Oxford.

The U's remain second in the table ahead of next weekend's game against leaders Chesterfield and Wilder believes if they can repeat the character they showed on Saturday they can remain unbeaten.

"Chesterfield are a big club in this league, they have an excellent squad and it'll be a tough old game," he said.

"The pride in the shirt, determination and character not to be beaten - we've been behind twice and climbed off the canvas twice and could almost have won it."

However, it was not all good news for Wilder, who confirmed that he expects injured duo Jake Wright and James Constable to be unavailable for between four to six weeks each.

Striker Constable has chipped a bone in his foot and defender Wright has had surgery on a groin injury.
