Middlesbrough sign Kei Kamara and Jacob Butterfield
Middlesbrough have signed Kei Kamara from MLS side Sporting Kansas City and Jacob Butterfield from Norwich City.
Sierra Leone striker Kamara, 29, had an 11-game loan spell with Norwich last season and has signed a two-year deal.
Midfielder Butterfield, 23, a former England Under-21 squad member, signed a three-year contract after failing to play a league game since joining Norwich last summer.
Boro paid undisclosed fees and have an extra year's option on both players.
Kamara and his family fled to the United States as refugees in 2003 and since then he has had spells in MLS with Columbus Crew, San Jose Earthquakes and Houston Dynamo before joining Kansas in 2009.
