Zavon Hines: Dagenham & Redbridge sign forward
Dagenham & Redbridge have completed the signing of former West Ham and Bradford forward Zavon Hines.
The 24-year-old, who was released by Bradford after scoring two goals in 41 appearances last season, has signed a one-year deal.
Daggers boss Wayne Burnett told the club website: "After miscommunications and lengthy discussions, I am convinced Zavon wants to be a part of Dagenham.
"He is an exciting talent with unquestionable ability."
Hines, who has also played for Burnley, was born in Jamaica but brought up in east London.
The former England Under-21 international played two pre-season matches for Dagenham and also had spells on trial at Coventry City and MK Dons this summer.
"Zavon has a hunger to succeed and I feel we are getting him at a really good stage in his career," Burnett added.
