Billy Knott: Sunderland midfielder loaned to Wycombe Wanderers
League Two Wycombe Wanderers have signed Sunderland midfielder Billy Knott on a one-month youth loan deal.
The 20-year-old joined the Black Cats in 2011 and made his first-team debut on the final day of last season's Premier League campaign at Tottenham.
The England Under-20 international Knott has previously had loan spells at AFC Wimbledon and Woking.
"To be able to attract a player from a Premier League club is brilliant," said Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth.
"The fact that he wants to come here and play games for Wycombe says volumes about him too," he ."
Meanwhile, Wanderers have confirmed that forward Paris Cowan-Hall, 22, will be out for three to four weeks after straining medial ligaments in his left knee during Saturday's 1-0 loss against Mansfield.
