Jack Whatmough signs first Pompey deal
Portsmouth's young defender Jack Whatmough has signed a three-year professional contract.
Central defender Whatmough, 17, has played in both of the Blues' academy league games this season.
At the age of 15 Whatmough was also an unused substitute when Pompey were beaten at Plymouth in the first round of the Capital One Cup last season.
"I'm delighted for Jack. We'll continue to work hard to help him develop," said academy manager Andy Awford.
