Stoke City in talks over Juan Agudelo move
Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has confirmed the club are in talks to sign US international striker Juan Agudelo from New England Revolution.
The 20-year-old, who only joined Revolution in May, has scored twice in 17 appearances for his national side.
"We're hopeful of progressing that. It seems there's a willingness from both sides," Hughes told 91热爆 Radio Stoke.
"We're still in discussion, but if we can do that he's a good young player and we feel he's got good potential."
If the former New York Red Bulls and Chivas USA forward were to move to the Britannia Stadium, he would become the club's third signing this summer, following defenders Erik Pieters and Marc Muniesa from PSV and Barcelona respectively.
He would also be the fourth US international on the Potters' books, alongside Geoff Cameron, Brek Shea and Maurice Edu.
