Jordan Pickford: Burton agree deal Sunderland keeper
Burton Albion have agreed a deal to sign Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford on a season-long loan.
Pickford has been on loan at Darlington and Alfreton Town and is set to join when the paperwork is finalised.
The 19-year-old kept five clean sheets in 12 games while on loan with Conference side Alfreton last season.
"Jordan is a player of undoubted ability who I know is regarded very highly by the coaches at the Stadium of Light," said manager Gary Rowett.
"He's a player with great potential and in him and Dean Lyness we now have two talented young keepers.
"It's a position that requires a lot of consideration and I believe Jordan has the attributes and temperament to be a really valuable addition to the squad."
