Scunthorpe United: Etienne Esajas signs one-year deal

Scunthorpe United have signed former Sheffield Wednesday and Swindon winger Etienne Esajas on a one-year deal.

The 28-year-old had been without a club since leaving the Robins at the end of the 2011-12 season.

The Dutchman played under Iron boss Brian Laws and assistant Russ Wilcox when the duo were at Hillsborough.

"I know what to expect of them as a management team and they know what to expect of me as well,"

"We need to push for promotion. You have to set high targets whatever you do.

"I think we can do well. We have a good squad and I know what this side can do."
