Jonathan Greening takes Nottingham Forest coaching role
Nottingham Forest midfielder Jonathan Greening has accepted an offer to take up a coaching role with the club's under-21 side.
The 34-year-old took his Uefa A and B coaching badges in the summer and will combine his playing career with assisting Ian McParland.
Greening told "I am really looking forward to it.
"I want to stay in football when my playing career ends and I have a chance to learn from a very good coach."
Greening only started six games for the Reds last season and spent time on loan with Barnsley, but he said was not thinking about retiring as a player at present.
"I still feel I have a lot to offer. I have had a good pre-season and still feel fit," he added.
