Hull City have confirmed that Scotland goalkeeper Allan McGregor is "on our radar" but say no immediate transfer from Besiktas is imminent.

Reports from Turkey suggested that Besiktas have accepted an offer of 拢1m for the 31-year-old.

But a Hull spokesman told 91热爆 Scotland that their interest in the player had not reached that stage.

West Ham United have also been linked with McGregor, who made 26 appearances for Besiktas this season.

Hull also have former Falkirk and Leeds keeper Kasper Schmeichel, who is entering the final year of his contract with Leicester City, among the goalkeepers on their shortlist.

Tigers manager Steve Bruce is looking for a new first choice after being unable to agree a deal with Fulham for David Stockdale, who had been on loan as Hull won promotion to the Premier League.

McGregor signed a two-year contract when he joined the Turkish outfit, having left Rangers last summer after the Glasgow club went into administration.

He helped them finish third in the Turkish Superleague this season and they will enter the Europa League at the play-off round stage next season.

McGregor, who spent time on loan with St Johnstone and Dunfermline Athletic while at Ibrox, has 28 caps and is in Gordon Strachan's squad to face Croatia in next week's World Cup qualifier in Zagreb.

Hull have already added a Scotland international to their squad for next season.

Midfielder George Boyd, who helped the Tigers finish runners-up in this season's Championship while on loan from Peterborough United, has signed a two-year contract to move to Hull permanently.
