Fleetwood Town: Johnson, Gillespie & Rose on transfer list

League Two side Fleetwood Town have made three players available for transfer, including Northern Ireland international Damien Johnson.

The 34-year-old midfielder played 23 times for the Cod Army during their debut season in the Football League but has not featured since January.

Striker Steven Gillespie, who signed from Colchester last summer, and midfielder Danny Rose can also leave.

Manager Graham Alexander released 12 players at the end of the campaign.

And the Fleetwood boss has recruited four new faces - Matty Blair, Steven Schumacher, Liam Hogan and Jeff Hughes - ahead of the 2013-14 season.
