Cheltenham Town: Marlon Pack among four offered new deals
Four players have been offered new deals by Cheltenham Town.
Midfielders Marlon Pack, Kaid Mohamed and Russ Penn have contracts to consider, along with second-choice goalkeeper Conor Roberts.
The club also confirmed discussions are on-going with out-of-favour striker Darryl Duffy.
Meanwhile, former Premier League midfielder Darren Carter has been released along with Bagasan Graham and injured defender Harry Hooman.
"It's the part of football that no manager enjoys," said Robins manager Mark Yates.
"I want to thank Darren, Harry and Bags for their service to the football club since being here."
Speaking about Carter's future, Yates said: "Darren is more experienced and we cannot pay him what he would like but I'm not closing the door on him completely."
Hooman will be invited back to train with the club during pre-season, as he recovers from a foot injury.
Pack's future at Whaddon Road has been unclear since January, when a proposed move to League One Swindon Town fell through.
Yates later insisted the 22-year-old former Portsmouth player was still in his plans, but Pack hinted he had played his last game for the club after their League Two play-off semi-final defeat by Northampton.
Yates went on to confirm that he had "verbally agreed" a new deal with Penn, 27, and added: "He is a player I trust and I want him as my captain next season."
