Stevenage keeper Chris Day gets new deal

Stevenage have handed a one-year contract extension to keeper Chris Day.

The 37-year-old has played 216 games since joining Boro in 2008 and has been part of two promotions from the Conference Premier to League One.

The former QPR and Oldham keeper has played 19 times this season as Stevenage finished 18th in the table.

He was predominantly second choice to Steve Arnold under previous boss Gary Smith, but has been back in the side since Graham Westley returned in March.
