Primeira Liga: Porto stun Benfica with late goal to go top of table
Brazilian Kelvin struck an injury-time winner as Porto ended Benfica's unbeaten run and moved top of the Portuguese league with one game left.
Portugal's top two sides both came into the game having avoided defeat all season in the league.
Rodrigo Lima put Europa League finalists Benfica ahead from close range before Silvestre Varela's deflected effort levelled for Porto.
And Kelvin's goal saw Porto leapfrog their rivals in the title race.
The low angled shot across goal came at the end of a disappointing second half and transformed the mood inside Estadio Dragao.
Benfica coach Jorge Jesus dropped to his knees, while several of his playing staff looked distressed at the final whistle.
In contrast, the goal prompted a small pitch invasion and a huge celebration among the Porto staff and supporters.
A draw would have suited Benfica, who will play relegation-threatened Moreirense on the final day of the season, Sunday 19 May.
Porto are now one point clear of their rivals and play Pacos Ferreira, who are third in the table, on the final day.
Before that, Benfica have to pick themselves up for Wednesday's Europa League final against Chelsea in Amsterdam.
