Dundee: Gary Harkins unsure over future
Dundee midfielder Gary Harkins has admitted he is unsure whether he will be at the club next season.
A 1-1 draw with Aberdeen on Sunday meant the Tayside club had failed in their bid to avoid the drop from the Scottish Premier League.
And Harkins conceded he may have to look elsewhere for top-flight football.
"I've loved my time here, I love the place. My only issue is that you want to play at as a high a level as you can for as long as you can," he said.
"Whether that's staying at Dundee for a year and getting promoted, I don't know."
The much-travelled 28-year-old is in his second spell at Dens Park, having left for the first time in in the summer of 2011 to join Kilmarnock.
Harkins returned to the Dark Blues in January for an undisclosed fee.
However, despite being unsure on his own stay at the club, Harkins praised the way John Brown's side had fought against relegation.
"I think we were written off when I came in in January," he said.
"People have been writing us off week in, week out and we've shown in the last few weeks that we're a good side."
