Irish Premiership: Glentoran 1-1 Coleraine
Glentoran defender Colin Nixon's goal-scoring exploits continued even on his final league game for the club as he hit a late equaliser against Coleraine.
After being told last weekend that his contract was not going to be renewed, Nixon came on in the second half for his 793 appearance for the club.
Nixon's volleyed goal in the 90th minute cancelled out Stephen Lowry's first-half tap in for Coleraine.
Glentoran's Marcus Kane and Coleraine's Kyle McVey both hit the woodwork.
Coleraine took the lead on 20 minutes as Curtis Allen squared for Lowry to score.
Kane went close to levelling before the break as he headed a Jason Hill cross against the woodwork.
A Jimmy Callacher mistake gifted a chance to McVey after the break but the Coleraine player nodded against the crossbar.
Nixon was introduced midway through the second half and his presence immediately seemed to rally the Glens.
The Glens produced later pressure and the popular Nixon volleyed in his 88th goal for the club in the first minute of injury-time amid emotional scenes at the Oval.
