Birmingham City: Blues sign Inverness's Andrew Shinnie
Birmingham City have signed Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Andrew Shinnie on a pre-contract agreement ahead of a summer move to St Andrew's.
The once-capped Aberdeen-born Scotland international, 23, will sign for Blues on a three-year deal when his current contract expires in the summer.
Inverness were hopeful of extending Shinnie's stay in the Highlands but he turned down a new deal at the club.
Shinnie began his career at Rangers, having two spells on loan at Dundee.
He then moved north in 2011 when he signed for Inverness, winning his first Scotland cap against Luxembourg in November 2012.
Shinnie has hit 15 goals in 41 appearances so far this season to help Terry Butcher's Thistle side rise to third in the Scottish Premier League.
