Nuneaton Town boss Kevin Wilkin linked with AFC Telford vacancy
Nuneaton boss Kevin Wilkin is among a host of names understood to be linked with the manager's job at AFC Telford.
Coach John Psaras is now in charge until the end of the season after the resignation of Graham Hyde, two games after Mark Cooper left for Swindon.
"It's very flattering to be linked with the Telford job. It's a big club in non-league circles," Wilkin told 91热爆 Radio Shropshire.
"I'd never say never, but my focus has to be on Nuneaton."
Former Northampton Town striker Wilkin was first when they were still playing at Manor Park.
but Wilkin kept his job as manager of the reformed club.
Having been placed in the Southern League Division One Midlands, Wilkin then led Boro to back-to-back promotions to reach Blue Square North.
But, despite only finishing fifth last season, they won the play-off final to return to the Conference top flight after a nine-year absence.
Boro currently sit two places and six points above bottom of the table Telford, but are still one point adrift of Barrow, who are 20th.
Meanwhile, Telford have confirmed that former striker Alex Meechan is to assist interim manager Psaras.
Meechan, who played for the club from 2010 to 2012, has left Blue Square Bet North side Colwyn Bay to return to the Bucks Head on non-contract terms.
