Worcester City to play at Kidderminster Harriers

Kidderminster Harriers and Worcester have signed a groundshare agreement which will see City play home matches at Aggborough from next season.

Blue Square Bet North Worcester's St George's Lane ground faces demolition at the end of the season.

And they have now signed a one-season agreement with the option of a second to play at Aggborough from 2013-2014.

"retained some of [their] ambition, while also guarding [their] future".

He continued: "The board is extremely grateful to Mark Serrell and the board at Kidderminster for the help they've given us in setting up this agreement because it really does demonstrate a lot of county solidarity.

"Of course there is rivalry between the two clubs on the pitch but in truth this really does strengthen the relationship between the clubs."

Harriers chairman Serrell added that he believed the agreement for City's 14-mile move would "benefit both parties" and said it was an "opportunity to help out one of our fellow local teams at what has been an incredibly difficult time for Worcester".
