York City sign striker David McDaid from Derry City
League Two side York City have signed Derry City striker David McDaid for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old, who scored 28 goals in 105 games in four years with the Candystripes, has agreed an 18-month contract at Bootham Crescent.
Minstermen boss Gary Mills told 91热爆 Radio York: "He'll play in the reserve game we have at Blackburn on Tuesday."
The club are awaiting international clearance to enable him to make his debut against Morecambe on Saturday.
McDaid is the second recent departure from Derry after Stephen McLaughlin signed for Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
However, Derry manager Declan Devine has snapped up Dundalk striker Michael Rafter and Bray's Sean Houston in recent weeks.
