Exeter City signing Mark Molesley ready to prove himself

New Exeter City midfielder Mark Molesley wants to use his time at St James Park to prove he is still capable of playing league football.

The 31-year-old joined the Grecians last week until the end of the season after his release by AFC Bournemouth.

"I've been unlucky with some injuries," Molesley told 91热爆 South West Sport.

"I love to play football and everything it brings to my life, so I've worked so hard that I'm trying my best to get back out there and prove myself again."

Molesley is set to make his debut in the Devon derby with Torquay United at St James Park on Monday.

He has faced Exeter five times in his career with four different teams, the last in another Devon derby when while Moseley was on loan at 91热爆 Park.

And he says Exeter is a club he has always admired.

"The opportunity came up to come here and me and the manager both thought it would be best for all parties.

"I'm delighted Exeter have shown a bit of faith in me, I've always been impressed with the way Exeter play and the players they produce, so it's always been a place I've known about.

"I've been involved at both ends of the table with Bournemouth and luckily enough I've got a promotion on my CV.

"Hopefully I can draw on any experience of that and help the team," he added.
