Crawley Town sign Jamie Proctor from Swansea City
Crawley Town have completed the signing of Swansea striker Jamie Proctor for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Swans from Preston North End in August, has signed an 18-month deal.
"Unfortunately it hasn't worked out for him at Swansea because they have a very strong squad," Reds boss Richie Barker told
"He wants to get his career kick-started and he fits the template of player I want here."
Barker added: "He is talented, wants to work hard and is at an age where he can only improve.
"I have monitored Jamie throughout his career and when the opportunity came to bring him to the club I didn't hesitate for a second."
Proctor did not make a senior appearance for the Swans after moving to the Liberty Stadium.
He scored three goals in 34 appearances for Preston last season and played three games during a loan spell at Shrewsbury earlier this season.
