Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp wants to sign West Brom forward Peter Odemwingie and secure a loan deal for Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore.

Redknapp is also believed to be after Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila, 22.

"We made an enquiry for Odemwingie," the R's boss said after a battling 0-0 draw against his former club Tottenham.

"I don't know whether [chief executive] Phillip Beard has put an offer in but he was a player we spoke about and he was a player I was interested in."

Redknapp added: "There is every chance we have made an offer [for Odemwingie] but I haven't spoken to him [Beard] today but there is every chance an offer could have gone in."

Odemwingie, 31, did not play in West Brom's 3-2 defeat by QPR's relegation rivals Reading on Saturday.

The results still leave QPR bottom of the Premier League, five points shy of safety.

Livermore, 23, has struggled for first-team action at Spurs, and Redknapp indicated he was going to take him on loan.

He said: "I'm a big fan of Jake's. He is a good young player and it will be a good experience for him."

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas was more hesitant about any deal for Livermore being done.

"There is nothing confirmed yet," said Villas-Boas. "I think when we announce it, it will have to be official from all three parties."

Redknapp intends to watch Rennes, where M'Vila is believed to be his target.

"There will be a lot of good players on show," he said.

"I'm going to watch a game [on Sunday] and just looking at players really to see if there is anything out there to improve us.

"He [M'Vila] is an interesting player, I tried to sign him when I was at Tottenham and is someone I have watched five or six times in the last year - it is difficult because when you're at the bottom it is harder to attract people to the club."
