John Sheridan promotes Plymouth Argyle youth coach Gary Owers
Newly-appointed Plymouth Argyle manager John Sheridan has asked the club's youth team coach Gary Owers to help with the first team.
Owers, 44, has been at Argyle since last summer, having previously been first-team coach at Bristol City and

"I think it'll be beneficial if he's involved more with the first team," Sheridan told 91热爆 South West.
"I know Gary, he was first-team coach at Bristol, and I played against Gary a few times," Sheridan said.
Owers made more than 700 appearances in a playing career that began in 1986 with Sunderland, including the 1992 FA Cup final against Liverpool.
He then moved to Bristol City for 拢250,000 in 1994 before spells at Notts County, Forest Green and Bath.
Sheridan has also confirmed that first-team coaches Romain Larrieu and Kevin Nancekivell, who took charge of the after Carl Fletcher was sacked on New Year's Day, will stay in their roles.
"That's really the only change I want to do.
"Everyone else will help me because I'm new to the area and they'll know a lot more about the club than I do," said Sheridan.
"Hopefully we'll all stick together and hopefully push the players on to where they want to go, which is to stay in this league."
