Partick Thistle sign Steven Craig after Ross County exit
Partick Thistle have signed Steven Craig until the end of the season after the forward's exit from Ross County.
The 31-year-old had been on loan from the Dingwall outfit to the First Division promotion hopefuls, but that deal expired at the weekend.
And Thistle's website announced that he has now made the switch permanent.
"We are delighted to confirm that he has now signed a deal that will keep him at Firhill until the end of the current season at least," Thistle said.
"So far, as a Partick Thistle player, Steven has scored seven times from 12 first-team appearances and is sure to be a crucial player in the second half of the season."
Craig, previously of Falkirk, Motherwell, Aberdeen and Dundee, had joined County from Livingston in 2008 and helped them win promotion to the top flight last season.
Late last month, County released defender John Bateson, forward Kurtis Byrne, midfielder Russell Duncan and goalkeeper Joe Malin.
Manager Derek Adams was keen to shed players who had not made an impact on the first-team squad so he could make January signings to aid County's battle against relegation from the Scottish Premier League.
