Huddersfield Town end Chris Atkinson's Chesterfield loan spell

Huddersfield Town have recalled midfielder Chris Atkinson from his loan spell at Chesterfield.

Atkinson, 20, joined the Spireites in September and scored five goals in 16 appearances for the League Two side.

Town will be without Keith Southern for the next three games after he was sent off for serious foul play in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Charlton.

The club appealed against the red card at an FA hearing on Tuesday but the referee's decision was upheld.
