Linfield 4-0 Lisburn Distillery
Premiership champions Linfield moved up to fifth place by beating Lisburn Distillery 4-0 at Windsor Park.
Promising defender Niall Quinn scored the opener with a superb free-kick which went in off the off the crossbar for the teenager's first senior goal.
It was 2-0 just before half-time when a Billy Joe Burns cross looped off Andy Hunter's head for an unlucky own goal.
Brian McCaul headed in the third for Linfield and sub Ryan Henderson made it 4-0 with his first touch.
But it was not all good news for Linfield manager David Jeffrey as striker Matthew Tipton suffered another injury setback.
The former Portadown front man had only been on as a sub for 11 minutes when he was forced off with what looked like a twisted knee.
"Hopefully, it is not that serious and he is back in a week or two," said Linfield skipper Michael Gault.
"The result was important tonight but I think we got the performance as well.
"Young Niall Quinn is a quality player and seems to have made the left-back position his own.
"He has been a breath of fresh air for us this season."
