Glentoran maintained their fine start to the season by beating struggling Lisburn Distillery at the Oval.

Richard Clarke pounced for a close-range opener in the 44th minute after David Howland had headed down Stephen Carson's ball into the penalty area.

Lisburn Distillery had their chances but went two down when Andrew Waterworth turned in front of goal to blast high into the roof of the net.

Clarke put Waterworth through to score again just two minutes from time.

It looks like a comfortable win for the only unbeaten team in the Premiership but Distillery, managed by former Glens winger Tim McCann, had chances to make a game of it.

91热爆 keeper Elliott Morris did well to save a Gary Liggett header when the striker looked poised to give the visitors a shock lead.

Morris also denied defender Andy Hunter as the Whites pushed for an equaliser early in the second half.

Glentoran had opportunities too, with Lee Windrum making saves from Waterworth and Jim O'Hanlon.

Lisburn Distillery remain bottom of the Premiership, tied with Donegal Celtic, on three points from their eight league matches.
