Carlisle United sign Joe Garner on loan from Watford
Carlisle United have re-signed striker Joe Garner from Watford on a 28-day loan deal, in time for Tuesday's League One visit of Crewe Alexandra.
Garner, 24, left Brunton Park for Nottingham Forest in July 2008 for a fee of 拢1.14m, having scored 19 goals in 53 games for the Cumbrians.
"I'm really happy to be here and I just want to play some games," Garner told 91热爆 Radio Cumbria.
"I know the manager well, I like the place and the fans are good."
Injuries limited the former Blackburn trainee to 55 appearances in three years at the City Ground, and since joining Watford in August 2011 he has scored once in 27 matches.
His spell at Forest took in four different managers in Colin Calderwood, John Pemberton, Billy Davies and Steve McClaren, while Sean Dyche, who took him to Watford last season, was dismissed last summer to be replaced by Gianfranco Zola.
"It's been frustrating over the last couple of years, I've not played as many games as I would have wanted to," Garner added.
"These things happen. People are brought in, new owners, new managers and they have their own ideas of players they want to bring in.
"Sometimes you have to bite your tongue and get on with it."
The full interview with Joe Garner will be aired on 91热爆 Radio Cumbria before the home game with Crewe on Tuesday, 18 September.
