Adam Forshaw's goal gave Brentford a deserved victory against Oldham.

The Bees dominated proceedings and they scored when Forshaw drilled home following Farid El Alagui's delicate touch to give his side the advantage.

Brentford had chances to double their lead but Tony Craig and Clayton Donaldson both headed over with the goal at their mercy.

Donaldson saw another effort blocked, before the visitors bombarded the Bees' box with high balls, but to no avail.
