Swindon cruised past Crawley to secure their first win of the season.

Town's first-half opener was slightly fortuitous as Matt Ritchie's cross into the box fooled goalkeeper Paul Jones and drifted into the net.

Kyle McFadzean and Gary Alexander went close to levelling for Crawley before Tommy Miller stabbed home the hosts' second from Raffaele De Vita's header.

They made it 3-0 after the break when Ritchie picked out De Vita, who drilled in from close range.

Aden Flint thought he had netted their fourth with 10 minutes to go but the defender was ruled offside.

"We played as one body and spirit. We worked very well together.

"I'm really happy for Joe Devera because he did something special.

"He looked like he'd always played as a right-back and he gave support in a fantastic way.

"I'm proud to be manager of them. It was their best performance under me at the this club."

Crawley Town boss Richie Barker told 91热爆 Sussex:

"The first goal has changed the game and it's a fluke and it knocked our confidence.

"And the second goal is before half-time and if we weathered the storm then who knows.

"The football was excellent but we've got to be careful that we [don't become] one of those sides people enjoy watching but not enjoy supporting because we're not picking up results.

"We got a bit carried away after the weekend so defeat is back down to earth with a bump and it is a rude awakening what the differences are."
