McAllister to use promotion experience to find new club
Sean McAllister believes winning promotion to League One with Shrewsbury Town will help him find a new club.
The former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder is one of four players being released by Shrews boss Graham Turner.
"Hopefully my experience at a higher level, and the fact that I've got a promotion under my belt, will help my cause," he told 91热爆 Radio Shropshire.
"I'm disappointed, I thought I was worth a new deal, but I've had two good years at Shrewsbury."
McAllister, 24, had five seasons at Wednesday before joining the Shrews, when he was snapped up by Turner after being released in the summer of 2010.
He made 22 league and cup starts for Shrewsbury this season, most of which were in the first half of the campaign.
