Crawley's Mills & Davis sorry for Bradford brawl

Crawley Town defenders Pablo Mills and Claude Davis have apologised for their roles in the post-match brawl at Bradford City on Tuesday.

Both were sent off and the Reds have been charged by the FA with failing to control their players.

"My actions were wholly unacceptable and inexcusable and it is something I deeply regret.

Davis added: "My retaliatory action fell way below my personal standards."

The Jamaica international continued: "I would like to offer my unreserved apologies to the directors of Crawley Town Football Club, the supporters, the gaffer [Steve Evans] and staff plus my team-mates.

"I have let every single one of them down."

Davis will be suspended for four matches and Mills three, but Mills could face longer on the sidelines after being charged with violent conduct by the FA.

Crawley defender Kyle McFadzean has also been charged with violent conduct. They have until 1800 BST on Friday to appeal.
