Aberdeen say it will take a big offer in the summer to tempt them into selling midfielder Fraser Fyvie.

The Dons last week rejected overtures from English Championship clubs for the 18-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of December.

91热爆 Scotland has learned that Fyvie has turned down the offer of a contract extension at Pittodrie.

And he is likely to leave either in the summer or at the end of his current deal.

But, with only a nominal training fee due should the latter happen, the Dons will hope to cash in during the summer transfer window.

Only a fortnight ago, fellow Aberdeen product Jack Grimmer left the club for the Fulham youth ranks.

The London club have also kept tabs on Fyvie's progress and Dons manager Craig Brown is reluctant to lose another teenage prospect.

Manchester City were represented at last weekend's Scottish Premier League game against Dunfermline Athletic as they too monitor the Dons midfielder.

Kari Arnason is another Aberdeen midfielder who has rejected a new contract, with his present deal ending in the summer.

Isaac Osbourne accepted an offer of an extension, while Brown signed experienced pair Stephen Hughes and Gavin Rae during the January transfer window.

Aberdeen-born Fyvie made his senior debut against Hamilton Accies aged 16, becoming the youngest-ever player to turn out for the Dons.

However, he was ruled out for much of last season with a cruciate ligament injury, returning to the side in May.
