Blackburn have signed forward Marcus Olsson from Swedish side Halmstads BK and defender Bradley Orr from QPR, both on two-and-a-half-year deals.

Olsson, 23, arrived on a free transfer joining his twin brother Martin at Ewood Park, while 29-year-old Orr joined for an undisclosed fee.

"I think the age he's at gives us a little bit more experience in that position," Kean said of right-back Orr.

"Bradley will bring us experience and another option."

Orr joined QPR in the summer of 2010 and played a key role in the R's promotion to the Premier League, but he has managed just eight appearances this season.

Olsson, who can play on the wing or up front, had a trial with Blackburn in 2005, at the same time as his brother, but was not signed.

He earned his first caps for Sweden this month, playing in friendlies against Bahrain and Qatar and scored 17 goals in 139 appearances during a four-year period at Halmstads BK.

Martin Olsson, who signed for Blackburn when he was 17, is already an established Premier League player and a regular for the Swedish national side too.
