Reading winger Jimmy Kebe signs new contract
Reading winger Jimmy Kebe has signed a new contract to keep him at the Championship club until 2014.
Kebe, 28, has played 21 times for the Royals this term but was out of contract at the end of the season.
The Mali international had been linked with a January move to both West Ham and Leicester but has decided to stay at the Madejski Stadium.
"I'm thrilled Jimmy has committed his future to Reading," manager Brian McDermott told the club's website.
The news comes just days after Reading chairman Sir John Madejski announced he was going to sell the club to new Russian owners.
Reading signed Kebe in January 2008 from Lens while he has also had loan spells at Chateauroux and Boulogne.
Kebe, who has not made it into the Mali squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations finals, has played 159 times for the Championship side, scoring 25 times.
