Milan buy Mesbah and recall Strasser from loan
AC Milan have recalled Sierra Leone's Rodney Strasser from his loan spell at fellow Serie A side Lecce.
Lecce report on their website that they have also sold Algeria international Djamel Mesbah to the Italian champions.
As part of the deal, Lecce have acquired part-ownership of Milan teenage striker David Speziale.
Milan have also re-signed German teenager Alexander Merkel from Genoa, in part to cover for injured Ghanaian Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The former Black Star, 24, , has pulled his hamstring and is expected to be out for a month, Milan said.
Merkel, 19, moved to Genoa from Milan in the off-season as part of the deal which took Boateng to the Serie A champions.
Kazakh-born Merkel is part-owned by both clubs but Genoa hold his licence so Milan have had to sign him on loan.
