Nigeria winger Ahmed Musa has completed his move from Dutch club VVV Venlo to CSKA Moscow in Russia.
The 19-year-old has passed a medical and has now signed a four-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
"Yes, everything has been agreed between Venlo and CSKA," Musa told 91热爆 Sport when the deal was agreed between the two sides.
"I'm happy that both clubs sorted things out quickly for me to move to Russia."
He had also attracted interest from clubs in Germany, Ukraine, Spain and Turkey but only CSKA met Venlo's valuation of the player.
"Too many clubs have been mentioned but I am delighted now that a deal has finally been agreed," Musa said.
"I can now focus on my career with an ambitious club like CSKA."
Musa paid tribute to Venlo, where he played for a season-and-a-half and its fans.
"This club gave me a beginning in Europe and the people showed me love I will never forget," he added.
Musa's agent, Tony Harris, has insisted that a move to CSKA is the right step for the player.
"Venlo was a start point for him and he is joining a club that obviously suits the developmental stage," Harris told 91热爆 Sport.
"The club has got other talented youngsters like [Japan's Keisuke] Honda and [Serbia's Zoran] Tosic, so his career is on the right path.
"There is exposure, regular football, professionalism and development for him there.
"Some clubs offered more money but the exposure that comes with playing regular European football is too massive to turn down."
Musa joins Ivory Coast striker Seydou Doumbia and Liberia's Sekou Oliseh at CSKA.
