Jermaine Pennant intends to stay at Stoke City
Winger Jermaine Pennant has insisted that he will not be leaving Stoke City in the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old made his first Premier League start for more than a month in the 2-2 draw against Wigan on Saturday.
"I don't want to go anywhere," Pennant told 91热爆 Radio Stoke. "I've not asked to leave and I'm not sure why that's been brought up.
"I've got another year and a half left on my contract and I'll be here until the end of it."
Pennant, , also played down suggestions that his exile from the first team was down to an argument with manager Tony Pulis.
"There's no problems between me and Tony," said the former Arsenal and Liverpool man. "He's had a squad that's been winning in the last few games and you don't want to change a winning team.
"He's the manager and I'm not one to complain if the team's winning. It's all about the team."
The draw against Wigan made it one defeat in the last seven Premier League matches for the Potters, who are currently eighth in the table, with their only loss coming away at leaders Manchester City on 21 December.
