Hull City's Conor Townsend to stay at Grimsby Town for season

Hull City left-back Conor Townsend will remain on loan with Blue Square Bet Premier side Grimsby Town until the end of the season.

Townsend, 18, is currently contracted to remain with the Mariners until 3 January, and Hull are keen for the full-back to continue his development.

The defender, who joined the Tigers aged eight, has made 13 starts during his loan spell.

He is yet to make a first-team appearance for his parent club.
