Port Vale 4-0 Aldershot

Guy Madjo's hat-trick helped Port Vale to a convincing win over Aldershot.

Madjo gave the hosts the lead when he lashed in from 12 yards, before tapping home his second just after the break.

The striker, on loan from Stevenage, completed his haul when he latched on to Tom Pope's through ball, before Pope played through Sean Rigg to score Vale's fourth.

Aldershot's miserable day was then completed late on when Michael Rankine missed from the penalty spot.

Before the match, a large proportion of Vale fans held red cards in protest against the club's current board of directors.

"I personally don't think he (Guy Madjo) played well in the first half, but he got a goal and that set him off.

"Our attacking play today was spot on, especially from the wide players, and Guy got his rewards for being in the right place at the right time.

"We were clinical today, but we know if we get in to the right areas then we've got players who can cause problems."

Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth told 91热爆 Surrey:

"I saw it that they were four goals better than us. We defended poorly for their four efforts.

"We've got to take this disappointment and learn from it. We must not let it happen again.

"Sometimes players play their way into the team, sometimes they play themselves out. There are some decisions to be made now and I'm looking for a reaction."
